MichaelC should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

Pleasant enough lad, Ricardo. Must have some talent to have won F3K and FIA GT Championships. So:

Villeneuve is dragging the BAR round and doing an OK job given the state of the thing. It's obvious that they aren't getting equal equipment, but surely he ought to be able to do better than he is??

There's lots of talk about who's in and who's out for next season. I even heard he would replaced by Alex Wurz.
Now I understand that he's a Mercedes-contracted driver, but is he likely to have a drive at all next season? Is there perhaps a seat at the home for perennial under-achievers that is the Sauber team???

I think this is the last we'll see of Ricardo. Lined up for that Sauber seat must also be Wurz and their test driver, who I think is Bernoldi.

I expect my Ricardo will go back to sports cars, where he was quite successful and where he will be successful again. Open wheel cars just don't seem to be his thing.

I just hope he keeps racing.

I hear de la Rosa will get the BAR seat next year.

Even if they are not being given equal equipment, Ricardo has still blown it completely this year. JV has had one dumb shunt, but Ricardo seems to be unable to keep that thing on the track, even when nothing fails.

With Zonta and Villeneuve driving for BAR it is very hard to judge where the team really stands. Jacques has put it in 6th and declared that the team is "the best of the rest", however Ricardo's performance shows them to be just ahead of the Minardis.
