Yes CoombeMarshal I was referring to his attempt to do the entire race - sorry if I was misleading - the events of 55 clearly overshadowed.

I do appreciate what you were getting at.

I admit it took me a while, but Yes I'm registered, and Yes I can log in!

Problem appears to be that if the Licensing department hasn't got all of: -
1/ Your name,
2/ Your number
and
3/ Your Date of Birth

then the initial registration appears to fail.


Step 2 - creation of login asks for your e-mail address, if again they do not have a note of this, or - as in my case - you use a different one to that you told them, it fails again!

- the problem for marshals is exasperated if the Race Marshal Registration Form has not been completed and returned to them.
(I knew there had to be a reason for it!!)


I have raised the issue with them and I was assured that the 'validation routine is being looked into'!


If you have a problem registering then contact them

I did and and only four days later - success!!

computers don't make errors, what they do, they do on purpose!
