Basically after each Q session cars are held in Parc Fermé conditions and can't be tocuhed by the teams until the next qualifying or race session.

They are allowed to do somethings - like alter the front wing. They can also change bits that need replacing within reason. They have to be doing because it was damaged or similar not for performance.

To get an idea of what can be changed check out the scrutineering report from the last GP: http://www.fia.com/mediacentre/Press.../malaysia.html

Also check out the sporting (and techincal) regs: http://www.fia.com/sport/Regulations/f1regs.html

I don't post much on this board, but I have been around for a long time.

When I saw this thread, I thought, "What? They are going to close down Parc Ferme and bring back The Gravel Trap?"

I was going to say, "Read the FAQ at http://www.parcferme.com/faq.php " ...

But then I realised that's not what Terry meant...
