Doesn't seem to be any info on the website.
Strange time to run a sprint given the "speed" season has finished for the year. Perhaps contacting the main speed clubs in the region would have bene a good idea?

Hi There,

All Motorclubs in and around the region will be contacted and the website will be updated once the Classes, Regs and Entry forms have been finalised.

The reason this date has been choosen is so that it did not conflict with any other events.

Many Thanks - Toonlad

regs for this event have been on our web site for some time, we have contacted a lot of competitors and clubs, the event is a grass routes Clubman event ( of which there or not many in our area) , We need your support,
entry fees have been set at £70 to cover event cost if we hit the magic number 60 , as this post is on TEN TENTHS then i will tell you we are at TWO TENTHS of entries require , with only 2 days left on the stated closing date we are for short of making this happen,
many of you will be aware of our activity at Teesside Autodrome re the development of a NEW RALLYCROSS CURCUIT, the idea of this event was a fun end of year weekend for all with the added benefit of showing Teesside Autodrome that we are able to sustain events and there for encourage the development , if you have an MSA LOG BOOKED VEHICLE or a ROAD LEGAL (complete with interior) VEHICLE then we have a class for you, i dont want to cancel this event due to lack of entries ,

with the recent announcement from the BTRDA/MDA re 2013 series being cancelled it is even more important that we look to secure our own future
this may be only 1 sprint but the implications are massive

spread the word get an entry in by post our email - dangermouse606@sky.com

i thank you now for your support

My entry has been sent off today. I'm not a sprint fan I prefer to race, but what the hell, I'll give it a go.
Anything to support the future of club level rallycross.

Sprint Will Run

After consultation with CDMC committee members it has been agreed today Sunday AM, the Winter Sprint WILL go ahead even with the shortfall on entries.
The club is looking at a considerable loss on this event but we feel that Clubman Motorsport in the North needs support.
Entries will be taken upto 1hr before the event as per Blue Book
hopfully this will encourage more entries upto and on the day of the event to soften the blow.
We have shown you the competitor our support so PLEASE show us yours
spread the word get people to have ago or come along get involved spectate lets have a really good FUN Clubmans weekend.

As has been said before the problem is that you are so far out of season. The speed events run from April to mid October and after that the cars go away for six months. Also the class structure does not fit the local regional championships and there are no racing car classes.

i understand what your saying and the only way i can put it is this is meant to be an oppertunity for people to try sprinting rather than a full blown sprint but people from the sprint sport are more than welcome to come along , maybe in the future if this is a success then we might run another in which case we could turn to you guys for some support guidens
thanks for your replies.
