Hi John, all pretty easy questions!

Sign on is in the paddock bar as far as I am aware. Unsure if we can park outside the bar or if we have to walk over the pedestrian bridge.

Camping is more than likely on the outside of Copse (again by Ped Bridge)

Yes, that's what it's likely to be. Welcome aboard!

You sign on at the Paddock Cafe/Bar. Drive into Sillystone, over the bridge and into the 'Officials Parking' area. Cafe opens at 07:30. From there you can either walk to your post, or drive around the perimeter road.

The arrangements are probably as last year. Sign-on in the paddock bar/diner. Camping outside Copse, showers/toilets are also there. For sign-on, you will have to park BEHIND Ped Bridge and walk to the diner over said bridge. You can then drive around the OUTSIDE of the circuit to your post.

LOL. I'm sure we can manage alternative arrangements. It's not like there'll be any rugby to watch this time.

No private vehicles are allowed on circuit at Silverstone. There is nothing stopping you walking it though. Not sure,as yet, of the time of the race, but I believe it starts around midday.

See www.lemans-series.com for updates.

I love Le Mans cars, and have loved Silverstone every time I've marshalled there, so it's a win win situation for me

Bezzers, contact Alan Tyson (PieMan on here) to get your name down.

See you all there - can't wait

Formula Waste of Fuel. Don't think I've ever seen a less interesting category. At least it was mostly a rest as there was almost nothing to flag for. One spin in early practice, followed by another spin under waved yellows for the first one. I suspect it was because he was caught out by another car doing something interesting. I can really do without half an hour of them at the end of a long week-end!

In fact, the whole support package looks pretty dull. What are all those track experience/track lap/show lap sessions? I'm assuming they're not going to require marshalling? I do racing and competition for free, not playtimes.

The LMS itself should be awesome as usual and compensation for some of the padding that goes around it. Peugeot v Audi at Silverstone will be an intriguing battle, and plenty of cars on track.

Looking forward to it. Mostly... Presume we're going to have a get together on the campsite?
