ambient temperature seems to be around 12 degrees.
That's quite possible, it's 14 around here. |

#47 in the garage
#66 drive through #33 another refuelling infringment - no drive through, but a 30 sec stop and go -- 8H30 done, #88 pits. Still no Boguslavskyi Honda leads again - for a single lap -- Estre back out, 4 laps down New best lap for Estre: 2:18:468 Last edited by gert; 24 Oct 2020 at 22:42. |

Been watching on and off. I don't like Addison and Watson is a catastrophe - legend or not, he shouldn't get close to a microphone. I like Haven although he seems to be on a less familiar ground here, mixing stuff with WEC etc. Who's his co-commentator, Charlie something?

#88 has a front left puncture. Or actually: it lost a wheel
Strange thing: it has last pitted 14 laps ago. How did it loose that wheel now? -- We had a look into the garage, it probably had been off or had a mechanical failure. There's not a lot of urgency there. They made be done. Side note: Boguslavskiy still has not driven after 11H30. I don't understand their tactics at all, they would have to let him drive for quite a bit on Sunday Last edited by gert; 25 Oct 2020 at 01:34. |

Charlie Butler-Henderson, former BTCC and British GT racer. Last year he co-commentated this same race during the night as well as doing pitreporting during the lengthy red flag

Looks like for now we got an Acura NSX with 3 current full time IMSA drivers leading an SRO GT WC Europe race overall. Pretty darn neat.

Looks like the Honda elected to stay out on slicks, and if the rain stops like it seems it's about to, it could be a great move

Race Director: "pit lane prohibited", "pit lane is blocked" Almost everyone pits. What a mess. -- Safety Car. Haven is getting it: "I think they need to go a bit quicker to build up tire temperature". He's on to something -- Haven: "Teams that did not go into the pit when it was officially closed are disadvantaged because we are now going green" Yes, explain that, Mr. Race Director. Niederhauser is not making friends.
Contact with the 22 (under investigation), now contact with Caldarelli (at least twice) |

puncture for #78. It takes slicks?
Some cars have done their mandatory technical stop: According to a tweet read by Haven: at least: #3, #4, #40, #63, #93 EDIT: Definitely slicks for #78, confirmed by team. Wets are overheating Tandy #98, Estre #47, and Cairoli #54 and Soucek #9 stop too. Also for slicks I assume? Jaminet #12 stops too. These are definitely slicks Everyone else will probably follow Last edited by gert; 25 Oct 2020 at 04:44. |
