Moto GP to race in the U.S.??
Well it could happen in 2004, the U.S. round of Moto GP will be in the calendar and first race of the year at Homestead Motorspeedway in Miami. The track promoters and the governing body of the FIM are in talks about putting a motorcycle in U.S. soil.

Well, like F1, you couldn't call MotoGP a 'World Championship' without a race in the USA, but IMO there is no track I know of that is adequately safe. WSB may go to Lagina Seca, but IMO there, Laguna is not completely safe, although when it's motorcycle racing, I guess nothing ever is completely safe.

road america gets my vote
 , vir aint to bad either - i hate watching laguna, it bores me to tears, if there was no corkscrew, there would be nothing about this track......

I like Laguna, the Gp's coming back there would be great.
How about Road Atlanta, Road America would be good also. Homestead Miami, brings up an interesting question, has a Roval ever been used for a Motorcycle Grand Prix round ever? |

For once I gotta say Steve's got a good point. MotoGP is the biggest bike series in the world, if it wasn't it wouldn't have virtually every major bike manufacturer involved,a nd the top 2 from Superbikes wouldn't be going across to it, Edwards switching teams of his own accord.

How about Sears Point? That last undulating section before the pit hairpin looks great, and whole track has quite lot of elevations. But maybe safety reasons rule this out, too.
