why dose it take so long for the MSA to regrade people isent my upgrade
of end june early july time and to-date have had no feed back either from the msa or the bmmc . i am now also ready noe to upgrade to incident marshal is it worth send ding this of now mmmmm

also need my msa number to volunteer for le-man 2007

i sent it to david owen who has confirmed he has received it and that he had forwarded it on to the MSA

Have you contacted your club admin dept ?

As an Observer with 25 yrs expertise,( and having problems in the past) most upgrades are left on the "backburner" until your club gets involved.

I would say at this stage due to the fact all licences are for renewal in 2007 (They last 2 years now) you will get it then with everyone else.

I find that last statement rather confusing. I assume the upgrade you are waiting for is course grade? If so, I can't see how you can be ready to upgrade to incident, as you shouldn't be obtaining signatures for incident until your course grade has been confirmed.

Some confusion here! I assume David is your local grading officer? As I understand the system, gradings are approved by your regional grading officer & committee & then forwarded to the national grading officer who is BMMC's point of contact with the MSA for grading matters.

I could throw a spanner in the works here by saying that when i phoned the MSA recently to find out about my Marshals licence they had received and semi-processed my form but had lost it before aproving it.. so

its always an idea to find out if the MSA has received your form as they will have you on the system but as a pending enquiry.. to which they dont seem to get back to you about until you call them first....

i took the above advice to find out only the MSA have not received my upgrade . so now ahve to start the process all over again

Did you photocopy your grading card before you submitted it? If so, send a copy to your local grading officer.

I have also been waiting for ages for OFFICIAL confirmation of my upgrading having been approved by my regional committee in july and passed further stages, i've even emailed our national grading officer Simon, sadly no reply

Well if its any consolation it took 9 months for my OIbserver upgrade to show
