Lowndes is definitely one to watch in 2019- back to a co-driver role in the enduros?

Frosty may be another one into a co-driver role for the enduros.

Interesting for both of them to go winless this year.

Both looked to be outclassed by their younger teammates.

Won't be surprised to see Frosty on the move for 2019. However he will be Mr Reliable in the PRA loose cannon squad in 2018.

Frosty has been consistently up the front for many years. 2018 wont go down as his best but I think he definitely deserves his spot.

Subject to a review, so effectively only an option at this stage, rather than a guarantee that Lowndes will continue full-time in 2019.

Lowndes may finish in 2018

A big factor will be whether and if so in what form, Nissan remains in the sport with the current deal with Kelly Racing expiring at the end of 2018. Deny it as they will, other teams will be making overtures. And do Penske and Tickford continue with the FG X or explore an alternative platform?

In terms of drivers under contract, I think Coulthard, Courtney, Lowndes (option), McLaughlin, Mostert, Pye, Reynolds, Stanaway, Van Gisbergen and Waters are locked in subject to get out clauses, everything else is up for grabs.

That would suggest two things.
1. Dragon want main game in 2019; or
2. the ZB will be able to race in dunlop series in 2019, which i havent seen mentioned anywhere

Without manufacture support, what is Prodrive to do?

The FGX has only been on the track for 3 years!

The series has already confirmed that the FGX Falcon (out of production), Altima (no longer on sale in Australia), Volvo S60 and Mercedes E63 (now an outdated shape) are all permitted until 2020.

Honda Accord with twin-turbo V6 NSX power?

The Accord's cousin the Acura TLX made a tasty looking racer: https://www.autoblog.com/2015/06/26/...lx-gt-racecar/

The homologation, and the manufacturer's approval to use it are seperate things.

Like to see these guys run BMW M4's. They were loosely linked with them a few years back and there drivers seem to like driving for them in other races.....
