I forgot which thread it was but a while ago we discussed about the Audi-numbers on the Le Mans 2004 official posters. I still don't know why the numbers on the poster are 0 and 1. I think Aysedasi had the answer?

Anyone on the Motor Racing International Coach (#8 I think) travelling from Liverpool (Glasgow, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Coventry and High Wycombe) this Friday? I must sort myself out for next year and drive, etc....

Another last minute question. The big tent we were supposed to borrow turned out to be nonexistent, but we got two little ones instead. We're only allowed to put one tent per camping space, but how strictly is this supervised? As long as we stay within our borders I can't imagine what the problem would be.
And if they don't like our two tents, will they just go away if we can't understand them for long enough? |

Two tent question
Toth,
Two tents is an extravagance - but not a problem. If you are on an official campsite , the tickets admit one car ! And as many tents as you like. I'm going now wey-hey ~ got a boat to catch. |

Here is my last "Parting Shot" on the Entry List for 2004:
I would bet my Annual Salary ( and I get paid fairly well) on the following: AutoCon would have qualified faster than the: Taurus Lola-CAT (Diesel) Noel Del Bello Reynard Lehmann Panoz LMP1 (beat them soundly at Sebring...would have done so here as well) and I'd even be willing to bet $100 that they would have qualified faster than the: Taurus Lola-Judd (a disappointing 3:50) Intersport Lola B160 (also a disappointing 3:48) I would even put $10 on them for being in the "Top 15" (Although I was glad to see the Lister make a good run with the 3:43, and Nasamax with their qualifying effort this year...wel-done to both!) Now...I PROMISE I will leave the entire "AutoCon Not Invited" issue ALONE!!!! |

No sorry Erw ; but that allow you to have a drink with us not far away from your GS, at noon in the Village, and to share the same GS as Ayse and me, not counting some other members !

Been home just over 12 hours now and I have caught up on sleep, just got the washing to do now.
Anyway I have had a fantastic weekend driving down in an e-type what a buzz. The campsite was fantastic way better than I thought. The drivers prarade was a highlight too well worth it if you have not been before. Oh and Stephane Ortelli drank my beer. I know one thing you can keep coach, same time next year then........ |
