LOL..... Just a touch.... I am the wife of a rescue unit member... A friend of ours was marshalling at Doune at the weekend and sent me a pic of the car that he took with his moby...

You may remember us, we were at Gurston... Ours were the two children that talked everyone to death...

Am I right in thinking you are the gentleman who took the famous Jnr picture at Shelsley???.... If so we purchased one from you on the Sunday after the meeting in the bar...

Cor blimey, I did misunderstand a bit. Now I am working on the Identity. We have just driven back from Tarbet heading towards Caradale but gave up because it was too wet and we were camping on a limited budget.

The wife is trying to remind me of the Gurston barbeque, but she claims I was too ****ed and.....

Your wonderful wife gave our two children bracelets at the bar-b-que which amused them all night... I dont remember much of the bar-b-que as Mrs CrazyStu, Mrs Woolley and myself were in the corner doing our own version of a kareoke...

Car looks nice. Slightly worried by the Recticel sponsorship on the front wings. I've heard of product placement but it seems to be taking it to extremes...

Looks good, although there still appears to be a lot of work to be done to get it to a race ready condition.

Credit to GWJ for doing this though. What a project and achievement for him!

Mrs BlackX,

I have it now, do apologise. The general Doune pictures can be found here. Even bigger hangover on the Sunday, and the rain, wind, rain, wind at the top of the hill.

Good god, it even makes the GR51/55 look a bit flabby now, and they're titchy!

Bigger noises coming out of smaller, lighter cars ..... it's going to be a long old winter!

Hello boys & girls
The riding mechanic tells me it will be tested this side of Christmas. PRE have to the dyno the engine, then the car needs to be fully assembled. As Kames has lost its testing licence GWR will use an airfield located near to their base for straight line runs to work on the basic set up of engine management, gear shift operation and the many little items that will require what he calls "fettling" in his quaint midland-speak. He also says that one of the difficulties to be overcome will be the engine start sequence. To give you some idea, he says to have a look at the ongoing difficulties that occur on a Euroboss grid. GWjnr told him the car is 5 inches lower than a GR55 so b1ackcr0w is correct!
Love Abigail.

Whats all this Two for Tea lark?
Any chance of it staying on for more than a week at a time?
Joy Raineys site is about as consistent as a Bangladesh mains power supply.

Website uptime

Dear Dunn Roamin,

I am sorry that you find the website to be unavailable. I was not aware of any issues but if you could provide me with some more information such as the time and date that the service has been unavailable then I will talk to the host.
It will change to 2t4t over the winter because a lot of the content is no longer so relevant to Joy Rainey and I needed a new domain name.
I chose the domain name because it is not Hill climb specific but is certainly relevant to some of the things I like, including drag racing, and next weekend a twisty sprint for the first time in years.
The site has a few 'holes' in it but this has been due to having to change the hosting provider and have half my stuff under www.rjdunn.co.uk and the other under www.joyrainey.net.
I would like to have spent more time on the site and taking photographs this year but found little time with the filming of the British Hill climb championship.

Yours sincerely,

McB
