My right knee cruciate is shot. Hence no climbuing. But I can walk LM.

Friday, FIA GT Silverstone was 2 laps inside, 1 lap outside!

3 Le Mans for me, my first was in 2003 when i was 10. Been twice since in 2005 and 2007. Sadly i wont be able to go for the next couple of years because of my GCSEs ans A levels. But after that i will be old enough to take myself so i hope to go every year.

Spectatator in 91 when some kid called Shoemaker was a bit impressive, but his team mate was better...

Commissaire de course (aka marshal) 97 to date (first 2 at 31, rest at 106)
so 14th this year?
Highlight - me and the lads starring in the 07 race video pulling Olly Gavin in.
See you Wednesday lunchtime Steve.

SL should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
First went way back in 1978, then almost every year since, missed 3 years only, once to attend Spa 24 instead, not sure why I missed the other 2 years.

I have done Daytona 24 twice though, does that count?

no. 10 for me, every year since 1999 (except 2007 and my epic sickie).

Horribly spoiled for my first year, didn't realise at the time what a classic it was with so many manufacturers. 2003 and the Bentley boys was great, if very wet. Desparate now for a non-Audi win; Aston would be great, but I would love to see a French victory, especially one for our old friend Henri.

This will be my 8th. Missed '03. Likewise looking forward to a non-Audi win!
Going with my brother for whom it will be 9th LM.

2003 wasn't wet at all from memory. Do you mean 2001, the mother, father, auntie, uncle, granny and grandad of all thunderstorms?

I remember Jackie Ikcx being interviewed, saying "of all the years I've come to this great race now, this is by far the most unbelievable amount of rain I have ever witnessed" ! (it was 2001 indeed)

I remember being with the other Tourists on the way through the top of the fairground at that point when the heavens opened in 2001. Mind you, I think I got even wetter on Friday afternoon in 2007 stuck in garage rouge without a key to get into any of the cars!

Whoops, yes I'm getting my Bentley years mixed up. 2001 was their first year and stupidly wet, 2003 was when they won and was of course sunny and very warm.

(oh dear, they say the memory is the first thing to go...)

28th this year for me

First went in 1981 (17th birthday present to myself .. race dates were the same that year as this, i.e. Sat = 13th and that's my b'day!).

Missed only 1985 (long story but you know who you are!) and even planned my marriage and then kids around it (no trying for kids August til October just to be sure!).

Several pre-qualifying/testing weekends and two Classics too

Obsessed? Er.......
