Great news Ginge, you must be dead chuffed .

My son is racing karts this year and one round of his championship falls on his school's founders day. I'm going to have the same problem as your parents obtaining leave as his attendance is supposedly vital to the school, even though it's on a Saturday. Although, as it's a sporting event there's a chance we will be ok.

Hopefully see you down there.................one thing, do you actually look like Patrick Long ?

Totally agree with you-we have to write and ask for permission to take our kids out, even for a day......and they're 5 & 9!!!! What really gets my back up though is the holiday companies know this and bump up their prices in the school holidays.

Apparently, my article for the Alfa Romeo Owners Club magazine counts!

And I do Art for GCSE, and I draw and paint cars as a hobby, so that another thing.

And then there's an essay I could do on Dutch and Danish culture and the significance of being able to drink like a fish without getting drunk. I could go round asking them.
