Nadine J Lewis should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Marshals Needed - Oulton Park 11th June

We are desperately short of marshals for this coming weekends meeting at Oulton Park - all disciplines required!!

Due to the number of consecutive meetings in the calendar we seem to be hitting a big problem for this weekend. Also the circuit configuration has gone up from Island to International.

Formula Fords and FUN Cup headlining the meeting

All help appreciated - please contact Alistair Garrett if you find yourself available!

Thanks

I am on the list and will be there, although I nearly changed my mind when I found out the "main" race is 4 hours long! (+1 hour practice). Hope I don't want a pee during this one with one observer and one, maybe two marshals per post looking at the list?

Lets hope the FF races provide some action.

FUN Cup? so what's running in that one then? I'm sure the FF and XR's will give us plenty of entertainment. I agree the number of consecutive events is causing a problem, that's exactly why i wasn't there last weekend, but i'll be there for this one. Have we any idea why they decided to go to the full track? I hope it's too many cars, 'cos that would at least soften the blow...

I am trying to encourage people to come to this - not put them off!!

We are trying to make sure that "pee" breaks can be covered at all points round the circuit - hence the need for as many people as we can get!!

And I am afraid that girls will get priority to be near the portaloos - lads its the trees or tyres for you!!

From the BRSCC HQ website, the final instructions were issued on 1st June; they list 21 VWs, 19 XRs and 24 + 27 FF1600s.

Since the numbers swell by about 10% due to late entries, we might be seeing larger grids than of late this Saturday...

No intension to put people off..... Just letting them know what's on.
I will say no more about a 4 hour race... Promise.

The more people attend the less we will all have to do, come and join us.... Everyone!

Why don't they have a mobile loo? Get the safety car out, tag the mobile loo onto the end of the train and a two minute lap should just about cover it. You could have multiple loos on a flatbed and marshals could hop on/off as required. I'll suggest it to JP.

You could try Druids. Either Druids has monster rabbits, badgers, or the marshals are digging underground loos (or escape tunnels).

You only want that so you can take photos of us struggling to get onto a moving flatbed, and then post them here as caption competitions Still, it could be VERY entertaining
