Nurburgring photography spots

Just got confirmation of my press pass for the LMES - good news!

Anyway, I've never been to the ring before, can people reccomend some good spots.

Also, what's it like for gaining access to the track? At Silverstone there is any number of marshals gates you can walk through, and you can access the whole track, but at Spa for example it was a bit of a nightmare at first, just finding somewhere to get trackside access!

Anyway, cheers for your help.

I'm not a professional, so I am restricted to the public zones.

But you always see the pro's of course.

- Inside the first hairpin (access should be via paddock)
- Mercedes Arena exit on the inside

That's what I know from my visits to the Ring where you guys usually stay

You should give the Ford Curve a try. It's a nice downhill to this righthander
Also if it get's dark enough (rain ) there might be some glowing brakes before the NGK-chicane. There you just stay in front of the grandstand

You can walk round the track on the inside starting from the pitlane or the NGK chicane. There are no closed gates , everything is accessible very easy....the Nürburgring is very photographer-friendly track
