If they can get the car ready , which I reckon they can easier than anybody else as they build it ..... it would be logical to expect either Groppi or Prost , as they are doing driving duties at Le mans .

I hope Ortelli is better by then ..... he's one of my favourite drivers .

I was wacthing CNN today , and they showed the crash and then said that Ortelli had a broken knee . I had heard that he had a broken and dislocated ankle ..... anybody shed any light on his injuries please ?

Stephane's website says his right ankle is broken and very swollen, and he's having a scan this week in Monaco. They'll know more about when he might get back to driving after this. It also says that he didn't lose consciousness, so this should mean he can get back in the cockpit sooner. I didn't do French at school, so this is translated using Google - someone with more knowledge of French might be able to quote it more accurately!

It's Groppi and Loic Duval for LM this year, not Nicolas Prost. Anyway, if they have to make a new tub, they will likely not have time before Spa. Besides, they are better off making sure everything is set for LM at this rate.

I gather the Creation did not need a new tub, from what Ian Bickerton said. Are they just short of components for Spa for the #14 car? Or short a driver (JC-W)?

Is the undertray part of the tub or attached to it, since the undertray of the Courage clearly came off the car while it was cartwheeling.

There must be a couple of tubs around . Wasnt the LC75 basically an LC70 ?

So , there must be the ex Saulnier and Del Bello examples to name 2 ?

Did Oreca use a differant tub , i dont think they did ?

Spa has to be one of my three most favorite circuits. To see the 908 and R10 side by side coming out of turn two into Eau Rouge up Raidillon, down the Kemmel Straight, thru Malmedy and Rivage then down the hill into Pouhon would be fantastic. Hopefully, someone will post links to live streaming on this site for the race. Unfortunately, this race conflicts with the Historics in Monaco.

I just found the explanation why #2 Audi did a longer first stint. They started from pits

You are right, this is what was known on Sunday night and was reported in all specialized websites. The info was coming first hand from the team and Stéphane's relatives.

Yawn - either of those 997s will likely be crewed by gentlemen. I have my doubts about EE as well, for both Spa and LM. I don't see them being able to stock 2 cars with pros in the absence of any sponsorship, and they don't seem to eager to slot gentlemen in the car (with good reason).

Well, they've never had much in the way of sponsorship.

looks like the days of private P1s are seriously numbered, sadly.
