See in Endurance Info that KCMG will be running the Murphy Oreca in Zuhai while the Morgan gets prepped for its appearance at the Fuji WEC round.

Good to see an Oreca running in Asia, even if it's not a net increase in the number of cars.

They are running the Vantage in the GT Asia support race at this event, Maybe running two cars is better than trying to run one car in three races, with different tires and different BOP's.

OAK Racing drivers Ho-Pin Tung, David Cheng and Shaun Thong took (Asian Le Mans Series at Zhuhai 3 hours race) their LMP2 contender to a 58-second win over the No. 18 KCMG Oreca 03 Nissan of James Winslow, Gary Thompson and Jordan Oon in second.

Interesting to see that a Morgan, which to date has seemed very much a second string sort of entry, managed to beat an Oreca. Okay it's KCMG's first exposure to it, but slightly surprising nonetheless.

Clearwater Racing have confirmed their entry into the finale of the 2013 Asian Le Mans Series, 3 Hours of Sepang on December 8th at Sepang International Circuit.

Does anyone have an entry list for that event? I really hope its more than just 8 cars racing, 2 prototypes and 6 GT's.


I signed up to volunteer the event, so I'm looking forward to it. The support races over the Sepang 1000km weekend seem pretty neat, a lot of cars from MMS which also raced over the F1 weekend. (if I'm not wrong)

You shoul expect about 10-14 cars this time (3 LMP2, 2GTE, a minimun of 5 GTC and maybe any Lambo trophy)

I was told by the local marshals that the Sepang 1000km support races will be quite amazing also, with big grids expected. So should be a great weekend all around

Craft Racing, which races in the GTC class of the series with an Aston Martin V12 Vantage, will field the Murphy Prototypes-owned ORECA-Nissan 03 to bring the P2 entry at the Malaysian round on December 8 to three cars.

The ORECA, which will be run by Craft with assistance from Murphy crew members, will be driven by Formula Masters China class champion Jun Jin "Kevin" Pu and Irish Formula Vee front-runner Dan Polley, who has raced in Formula Renault Asia. A third driver for the three-hour race is due to be announced imminently.
