The world's gone mad! What self-respecting surgeon would even contemplate conducting such a thing?

If I was a surgeon, and any potential patient approached me with a request for such an operation, I'd tell them to go **** themselves!

Crikey, thats taking the desire for everything to be self service just a tad too far.
Also you would know you were lying when you tell yourself, Not tonight I have a headache.....

Thanks all for your birthday wishes and advice on dealing with getting / being old. Had a great night but feeling a bit second hand this morning.

Quiet day today I think.

Rather a nice part of the world to be heading to - should at least by drier & warmer than here! Best of luck to yourself & Dr Bob.

I went to Mugello once for ITC & very much enjoyed it, including a midnight trip into Florence!

I'm in North Wales this weekend. Staying in Bala. Had to get to Betws y Coed, sat nav sent me via a goat track over the mountain at Penmachno. That's a rally stage isn't it? Whatever it was steep up, steep down and barely wide enough for the Sprinter. Which has terrible brakes. And I was late. Funny burning smell from the front end when I got to Betsy

What a kart track though. Referred to as "karting's Nurburgring", well worth coming to.

So, does your satnav have a setting for avoiding routes with 20mph limits?

Simply have a sat-nav that doesn't include Wales!

Actually I know the area where you are, it's a beautiful part of the world. When I was a child we used to visit my mother's aunt in Portmadoc most years. With no M6 in those days it was a bit of a marathon 12-hour journey from North Norfolk. I remember building an Airfix Sunbeam Rapier on the back seat of my father's Morris Oxford during one trip. Didn't paint it though...

Seems our Delta is enjoying his trip to Mugello with Dr Bob. Here's a pic with Team 356 "rescuing" them. Not sure what from though.

Seems the Marcos had a good race. 356 Race 1 (13 th overall) was OK but DNF in Race 2 (after two laps?) Only Dad is listed on the Porsche. Everything is fine for you, Will, or are stuck with sand paper in you race garments? Great to see a lotus 15 overall winner of the Sixties grid (M Birch, L Stevens).
