Paolo Ruberti and Pierre Ragues confirmed at Larbre, alongside LM-nominated driver Yutaka Yamagishi.
Was Yamagishi one of the drivers of the infamous JLOC Lamborghini? http://www.dailysportscar.com/2016/0...programme.html |

A good line-up for Larbre. It'll be a little odd see Ruberti without Gianluca Roda alongside. |

Just trying to get myself back in the loop. You can add Olivier Lombard to the #22 car. The SMP line-ups need a small tweak in line with that ACO article you published - but you probably already did that. We also now know the Aston Pro line-ups: #95 Darren Turner / Nicki Thiim / Marco Sorenson #97 Richie Stanaway / Fernando Rees / Jonny Adam |

Cheers for the Aston line ups, Simmi. I was wondering where Fernando Rees might end up.
I have made those other updates on my list but haven't uploaded them. I'll get around to it. With the suggestion that Ines Taittinger might end up in the #28 Pegasus with Julien Schell, an early withdrawal could be the second Pegasus entry from the reserve list. |

No word about Beechdean for LM in the press release and Johnny Adam is now full-time in a factory car. What's up with the second GTE-Am car for LM???

I have a feeling that British GT4 champ and Aston Academy winner Ross Gunn will be in this car. He has won a season in the ELMS with Beechdean, I think.

On 10th day, JMW indicated again that they will be the first to get in if single LMGTE is pulled out. But I still think their intel is incorrect, considering that it wasn't too long ago when the ACO still published two separate reserve lines, not just this bunched up one. And regardless, I have seen zero indications for this anywhere else

Wouldn't be surprised to see a young guy like Gunn partner with an experienced guy who knows the Vantage well. A Dumbreck or a Hall maybe?
I'm sure Beechdean's plans evolved slightly after AMR's entry got smaller and Mucke jumped to Ford. Nice to see Jonny Adam make his Le Mans debut anyway. Along with Adam Carroll and Ben Barker that's some good GT rookies announced recently. |

In the #98 it was reiterated today that Lauda and Lamy would be in the car with Dalla Lana. It also seems that Jeff Segal is going to be the third driver for Scuderia Corsa. Same line-up as last year. |

According to Sports-carracing.net,
rejected Japanese team entry was joint entry by two famous Japanese team. It was GT class entry. (LM24 only, not WEC entry) http://www.sports-carracing.net/2016...tm#160216news1 Last edited by Japanese Samurai; 24 Feb 2016 at 12:26. |

The only way they could've pulled off LM24-and-nothing-else entry would have been with LMP1

Another F1-driver-to-Le Mans story. Will Stevens (re)joins Manor in the WEC.
http://www.endurance-info.com/fr/wil...es-chez-manor/ Will be interesting to see his pace. We should be able to get a much better idea about his ability than we ever could during his stint in F1. EDIT: Actually I might have been a bit hasty. News now that Manor have expanded to two cars in the WEC. So in theory there's an eventual pool of six drivers going for three Le Mans slots. I guess he brought quite a bit of money to F1, not that far stretched to think he's bringing the necessary sponsorship to Manor to field a second car but with the provision he (=Stevens) will be in their sole car for LM.

Yeah you'd have thought so - albeit I couldn't find any mention of Le Mans in the press releases. So probably won't add him to my list just yet.
