So what's going to be the best event of 2001??

Who's looking forward to which event...

Le Mans because of MG and Bentley's return?? Or will it be boring because of Audi??

Touring cars any good, or will it be GT's year..

But it's going to have to be good to beat the Goodwood meeting in September!!

Tricky question Mr Friel, I think 2001 is looking good. The Powertour is certainly an improved package on what it was in 2000. The BTCC itself is looking strong and it's got a good support race in the form of the Clios, I just wonder about some of the other supporting races for that one. It still looks as if none of us even know what Force Formula 5000 is and the Lotuses are a pretty good insomnia cure.
I hope that the Cart at Rockingham lives up to expectation, I just wish they'd been a bit more realistic in their pricing.
But without a doubt, one thing that I'm sure will live up to expectation will be the Goodwood Festival of Speed - I can't wait to get back there!

Le Mans is always the best! I'm looking forward to seeing the reconfigured Mt. Tremblant circuit (in Quebec) for the ALMS race, although I am told by someone who has driven that track that even widening the Turn 3 to 33 feet will not be enough to keep those LMPs from going off the cliff.

I like all racing. I'm looking forward to everything.

Is there such a thing as a bad race meeting? I can't wait for the Gold Coast Indy, and Bathurst

I think V8 supercars are in for a very big year. BTCC seems promising also, wish we could get decent TV coverage.

Rockingham CART (if I could afford to go), the BTCC, and most definately Goodwood FoS and the Revival - super, smashing, great!
