Brake system calculation

I am designing the brake system for the Locost of a friend but it seems that i have some problems with the resulting brake pedal movement. I have attached the file (see the link below) with all my data. You will see that the resulting brake pedal movement is 9.716" (in the analyse tab). This number is VERY high. Is this number really the resulting brake pedal movement for maximum acceleration? What is my fault? Thanks!

Probably not as the link doesn't work, it goes to various programme download pages.

As I mentioned in the thread "Brake Pedal Pressure" a ratio of 250:1 can be up to date. It provides that the pads will move 0,1mm (0.004 ") when the pedal is moving 25mm (1").

It's still linking to download programmes. I wouldn't risk my HD by clicking on anything I don't trust.

I can send it to your email if you want. It's just an xls brake calculation program.

OK link to the file here It works with IE but doesn't seem to be playing with Firefox so if you have problems opening, right click the link and save as.

I'm not sure what to open it with - I've tried Excel and Open Office.

Looking at it with a hex dump, it includes the phrase "Mircosoft encypted package" - whatever that is...

Can you offer specific guidance on opening this spreadsheet?
