Lydden Hill ERC Wheres Everyone Camping???

Me and my mate are coming down from Leeds as we do every year for the Rallycross at Lydden and are a bit gutted we can't camp at the track for the ERC round, as part of the fun is waking up to the sound of the cars warming up after a night on the beers.

Seen the list of local sites on the other thread but was wondering where most people are staying as we need a bit of atmosphere with like minded people if we can't camp at the track.

Suggested sites are Kingsdown international
Hawthorne Farm
West Marsh Farm Park
If anyone can suggest anymore sites close by it would be good. Get in touch ASAP as we need to sort a pitch out very soon.

All are welcome to join us for a beer if your at the same site as us. We will be in the van with the blue tent and windbrakes flying a small English flag!!!!
Get it touch Guys!!!!!!

And if someone has a clue on prices for each night too that would be great.

The cost at Hawthorn farm is 12.50 a night for (car, tent & 2 people per night) also for bank holidays its minimum stay of 3 nights. To find other camp sites just google (camping in kent ) and you will find lots more.

Normally it might be but it'll be a hotel an a high stool for this one.
Maybe yourself and mark might join us for a pint or 2.

Booked in at Hawthorne Farm not first choice but I guess it will do. All we need is a bit of grass and plenty of beer. Come join us for a beer if anyone else is staying there.

dougs did they make you book 3 nights?

I'm in London but thinking of travelling down anyway, maybe just park up and spend the weekend exploring the area.

They didn't mention having to stay for 3 nites, but thats irrelevant now, I'll be cancelling it tomorrow now we can stay at the track. Nice one Dorans for letting us camp at the track. It will make the whole weekend much more enjoyable. Waking to the sound of the cars warming up with a bacon sandwich and a hang over is what its all about!!
