I suspect there wasn't much need for persuasion bearing in mind it was effectively a technical hitch that stopped them from pitting properly.

I am not sure if Alonso had the option in the game to do a gas/tyres pit-stop instead of serving the penalty. That will be the difference between a situation not well handled by the game and a mistake made by the driver.
Anyway, they are 69 laps down and we rather see those names on track than out of it.

They have been allowed to start behind the last LMP car so are now 6 laps behind.

Personally, I just return to the campsite or move as far away from the stage as possible.... Frustratingly this isn't as easy

These feels like the bit in the old Le Mans reviews where they have no race footage of the night hours and fill it with random 'arty' shots of drunk punters around the fair ground and of course the iconic neon light covered wheel.
