Last I heard it is now Monday as the last jigsaw pieces are placed!

143 drivers, 142 cars (as I will point out to David Addison in a moment).

What are the classes for this? They aren't the standard ones by looking at the entry list.

IIRC bit like the BRSCC but A&B are together in a post '89 affair.

And in reverse by the looks of things, with class D being the newer cars. Cheers for that.

Correct on the classes.

I suspect many won't turn up for Friday, which will reduce the pressure slightly. Not sure on how many can practice on Silverstone National. And note that it is Free Practice, rather than Testing.

Classes dont make sense.. well that I can see. I'm in class D with a 93 and say Dorkins in an '05 is also D. Not that it all matters in the grand scheme of things.

Any news on the who's in which heat? be handy to know asap so I can turn up Fri night or Sat morn.

Can't believe the entry! James has done a great job (again) whats the record for most entries for a SS event Ian?

I think when James devised the present class structure there were many fewer Post 1995 cars around than there are now... maybe it is time for a change. As you say, it is really quite irrelevant in the context of an event like this.

Heat draw will be done sometime next week - keep 'em peeled.

I would suspect this is the largest entry for a Silverstone FF1600 meeting - it is certainly the biggest in the WHT - although I will consult the anoraks on this.

The new timetable isn't on the BRDC site (I don't think) but it can be found elsewhere... And we're not quite up to 150 yet!

I'll tell you the winner will be...the camera shop as I'll have to buy more compact flash and batteries to cover that lot
Let's just hope the unseasonably mild and sunny weather lasts at least a week longer
