They've been using a few different good charlotte songs in the v8 coverage...all from their latest cd. I've heard them use "the river" and one other as well as broken hearts parade.

Channel 7 must have had some really wacky people in their music department back in the day, for the start of the motor racing coverage, and some of the music for the racescore update to the ad breaks.
Anyone remember This? Or when Brocky went to Europe Here for those Euro Touro Enduros (sans lyrics of course) |

That theme was used by Seven from 1986-1989 ( in 1990 they started using "Fanfare for the Common Man" ) was also used in some European broadcasts, like the BBC Rally reports, and on Hay Fisher Productions films of touring car races (probably the Ch7 link in that case)
