Have we found out yet if the ACO has declared the results official yet for GT2? I may have missed something, but I haven't seen anything since they pulled the engines for the first two cars.

When ACO does make an announcement it wont take long to get up on here.

I wonder if I would be comfortable running an engine that was torn down by non-factory mechanics and then possibly rushed back together.
me-thinks I would send the ACO a bill for a new engine.

I would've thought Michelotto and Porsche would've checked the engines out once the ACO had given them back to the teams.

Glad this fiasco is over. Really wasn't quite fair to anyone keeping everyone waiting for so long. I guess now congratulations to the Felbermyer team are official.

I live in Washington State, which many folks in this great land pronounce
WaRshington State. The city I live in is called Spokane, but is pronounced SPO-Kan. Some people own a Poorsh. I prefer to cheer for Por-shas. (at least when a red lizard is on the side)

Forgive our little mis-spellings or mal-a-props, most of us are in a rush to move on to the next post and show our unique insight as often and rapidly as possible.

I would have imagined that firstly, after 24 hours of running the engines may be more than a little tired, and may require a rebuild, and perhaps secondly, that these teams had a second engine available for racing?

I mean what would happen if this one went BOOM in the race? A spare would either be in the truck, or in the very expensive engine shops at Weissach or Michelotto...
