Newbie Advice - Accommodation at the Circuit?
Hi
First time for Le Mans and wanted to know is there accommodation on-site other than camping or will I have to drive out of the circuit? Is it is better to get my ferry, race tickets and accommodation from a specialist agency? Basically don't fancy camping (and no room to carry stuff anyway!), and would prefer a 'one-stop-shop' for all the travel, tickets etc. Thanks |

No there is no accommodation apart from camping within the circuit.

More like fancy camping than a hotel. Basically a container with a bed in it. The toilet or shower facilities are in a camping-style block. |

If this is your first trip give the camping a try, the campsites are actually the place to be, and the amount of time you actually spend in the tent will be very limited, you will find plenty of things to do and the party atmosphere will be amazing. If you only have limited space in the car buy a cheap tent in a supermarket together with sleeping bag and then spend the extra money on essentials like drink and food. |

I agree with nothing , because I never will rent such a container . That is a Decision for everybody himself . There are lots of People which spend a lot of Money over this Weekend .We are using for several Years the Shuttle Bus to go back to the Car park at Place de la Republique .When you drive over the Night trough Le Mans you think the Race is in the Bars and Pubs . I think each Year more and more People going to Le Mans for a big Party . We could have a look on Friday before the Race if the Containers are rent .
We rent a big House ( 8 People 2Weeks ) for 850 € . That is a good Deal for me . |
