pink69 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Who will be the next dominant force in the ALMS?

Audi have dominated the series in recent years. their possible departure at the end of the year leaves the door open for the likes of Panoz and Cadillac to take over. Bentley could also join the series in 2003, with the new car debuting at sebring. Any Guesses?

Porsche could do it. Without any big German, or perhaps Japanese effort, the privateer Audis will still be winning races a decade from now, though the rest of the field will start to catch up. The Audi R8 is the 962 of this decade.

I'd really like to see the brakes, aero and chassis more restricted in the ACO rules, and more power added.

How about this new legalisation of traction control? There's got to be _some_ way to get rid of this!

I don't think that can happen, there is rule changes coming for 2004 for Prototypes

Blimey,
I'll just get out me crystal ball for a bit of polishing.
I'd love to see Panoz move forward, like Mazda a few years ago they're the peoples favourite, it's a shame they've had to take a step back, the LMP07 was a big disappointment. Any big steps forward are going to be on the back of a load of cash, so which big manufacturer do you fancy? Ford dressed as Jag or Aston would be nice. I think you're right Lee, Audi's for a good while yet unless the new (?) rules change things.

Muzza should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Disclaimer: the text below is mere speculation!

- Audi works team will pull out of the ALMS next year;
- privateers will only run already existing chassis. No additional R8 units will be built;
- one or two R8 chassis will be sold to private teams. Other will go to Audi Museum;
- private Audis will continue to take most victories;
- Cadillacs, a little faster and more reliable, will take a victory or two;
- same for Panoz, free of Audi competition;
- MG Lolas will not get a victory, but will scoop podiums.
