This morning -- a network t-v profile of Mad Max -- complete with shots of him taking the checkered, pumping iron, running on the treadmill and working out on the stationary bike.
AND -- he was live on the (outdoor) set of the CBS "Early Show" -- WITH his car. He charmed the co-host, Jane Clayson, offering to take her for a spin through Manhattan traffic. Why Max? Why CBS? Because that's David Letterman's network . . . and, as we know, David is one of Max's bosses. Synergy, ladies and gentlemen. |

Its good that CART and its stars are starting to get some run on mainstream TV. We just need a massively watched show like 48 Hours to do a show on a team's prep for a major race. Hmmmm....time to get an email going.

I suggest we write either 48 Hours or Dateline and suggest they profile TGR - in light of their participation in the Indy 500 this may be the time to strike.
The other team I would suggest is Penske, as You Know Who just got their 100th win - again, a good reason to profile them. |
