Quite an interesting success for the 207 Spider Cup(free session held today) !!!

18 cars, 9 driven by French, 9 driven by drivers of other european countries(Belgium, Spain, UK, Germany, Italy) among them three young ladies...!!!

They're quite good at screwing a car together, though too many of their sportscar endeavours are for gentlemen drivers and Amaral brings down the pace here.

They really should've been champions last year, without the silly name change thing. I'd pick them as likely to "repeat".

Third free practice session is underway and no sign of the Luc Alphand cars. Not sure what that implies, but it doesn't look good.

Everyone is in the pits except for the Binnie Motorsports Lola B05/40 Zytek and the Spyker Squadron C8 GT2R. Did they collide?

To be honest, it's not just the ASM Lola which is impressing this year. As I write this, the Charouz Lola has set the fastest lap of the weekend so far, and Bob Berridge is either driving like a man posessed or the 2007 updates on the Chamberlain Lola (in conjunction with the revised AER lump) have given the car infinitely more pace than it had in 2006 guise.

It's certainly difficult to tell; no Radio Le Mans and no 'Alerts' on the live timing screen (per the ALMS equivalent), poor service!!

good to see the Lavaggi actually running

kinda slow for the LC75 and Pesca LMP2 .. hope they'll improve .. the LC75 with Acura power is quite handy
