With the first scheduled test session due to get underway in just a few hours, I guess it's time to start the race week thread. I shall update the first post in due course, but you'll find links to entry list/schedule/timing and scoring/trackmap/spotters guide all on the RaceHub link.

Rubbish TV coverage in the UK.
All I can find is a 1 hour 'highlights' programme on Eurosport. Tom. |

Early red flag in the test. Not sure why yet. Also according to ALMSnotes some of the driver names will be showing up wrong today as no ID plugs are required. Might be the reason why Alexander Wurz is currently shown in the #1 Audi.
Also Oliver Gavin is taking the Larbre Vette out first I believe to do early checks. |

Any reason why the other factory Pug is over 11 seconds off the pace--I know that ALMS T&S sucks but it's shown as being on track.
The HPD is also back with the slow Pug on T&S. Edit: HPD is now 6 seconds off the lead pace. |

It's done 4 laps there's nothing to read into it. Even for you.

But to be fair Chern the T+S isn't right for the #7 as they have been on 4 laps for the past half hour or so. So they aren't out on track.

If that's the case, then it's fair to say, as is often the case, that T&S is now officially dead!
As for the low times, last I checked on weather.com, temperature is only about 50 degrees. If Audi and Oreca are struggling with tire temps, Peugeot could be as well, hence why the leading new 908 did that one flyer and backed off. A question of bravery vs descretion (of course, with T&S dead, we have no idea what's going on unless there's someone on the ground willing to inform us). I'd wait until the track warms up before we see some serious times. |

Yeah T+S has gone for a burton as apparently Brabs has just gone second with a 1m48.342 which is only six tenths off the lead Pug. Very early days though.
