marcus has a real shot at the podium!marcus has a real shot at the podium!marcus has a real shot at the podium!marcus has a real shot at the podium!
are Channel 10 going to trick us again ?

I havent read through all the China threads as of yet so apologies if this has been covered in them already.

But I was looking at the weekends schedule and noticed that there is 1 race on saturday and 2 on sunday.

chaneel 10's coverage starts at 12 on sunday and goes for 5 hours , which is pretty impressive.

but are they going to do what they did a few rounds ago and show Race 1 late on saturday night ?

I missed that one because i was unaware of it but im hoping that if it happens again I wont miss it.

does anyone have any info on this or are they gonna show it all on sunday ?

I was wondering the same thing. There is nothing adverstised, but they didnt really get to advertise it last time either. I guess we will just have to keep an eye on the TV tonight! There is always bigpond coverage!

can you hear the words "Filler"

this is the first time in china we are bound to see bucketloads of stuff of the drivers in and around town , what they are eating , where they are staying , who won the spot the aussie contest and just regular stuff that isnt interesting on a race weekend (maybe the week after when there isnt any racing but not on race weekend)

as I said they did this a few weeks back (for Wanaroo I think) when they had plenty of time to show all races on sunday but slipped one in on saturday night

TSR has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
People think that you will find that Ch seroius will not interupt there crappy AFL Saturday coverage for the supertaxis. Even tho they have being flogging the Chins race on sports tonight all week. So the final point is via CH seroius is the following

AFL VERY IMPORTANT
V8 NOT IMPORTANT

Would have been ok if there had actually been any flaming footy on Ten this afternoon, though! There were a couple of ads for the V8's in China, but no footy and no V8's. I would have thought that if they want to get the fans excited about the idea of sending races offshore, they should try to get them on tv live, especially when Ten don't show the footy which is the usual excuse for not showing the V8's!

Grrrrrrr

China is on WA time - the telecast will be done by 3pm local time - anyone on the East Coast been to a meeting over that early?
Herad Cromley on SEN radio claiming the telecast went live at some point - perhaps the signing off will be live.

It will be recorded live... does that not make it a "live" broadcast?

Yes, I am suprised this hasn't been mentioned elsewhere on the forum (that I have seen anyway).

Missing the start of race 3 was pretty annoying.

Was this just an SA thing or what?
