Do these NGTC cars still have cockpit adjustable roll bars?

Could the difference be that Audi themselves had a hand in the supertouring era but the NGTC car was originally developed by an inexperienced and rather small team - Rotek if I am remembering correctly.

We don’t know. We haven’t heard what Moffat’s plans are for next year, so who knows what Sutton will do?

But honestly I'd be surprised if the double-Infiniti program was dumped after a single year. Unless it'd be dictated by lack of money ofc.

I do not believe RWD is in itself superior. If we removed Colin Turkington and Ash Sutton then who is going to get either of those cars to a championship win? Only Andy Jordan has looked seriously handy to my mind. |

2010-2019 had 6 FWD and 4 RWD titles. Lets not pretend it's one sided.

Proper racing cars are RWD so I'd be happier if the championship became RWD dominated than if it was a FWD one tbh
Just personal preference tbh |

The overall championship has been won by a driver driving a car driving for a team - some works, some independent - since the inception of the championship. That's all, just saying, etc etc.
They also all had tyres. Can someone let me out of this cupboard now? Please? |

Did you not see the part where I said it was personal preference, or did you just ignore it so you could create an argument?
Take your combative attitude and aim it elsewhere, you're not getting anything from me You're free to enjoy whatever type of drive you want. I was just stating personal preference. |

Personal preference is all good. But trying to put down what other people like by saying they aren't proper race cars is where it goes beyond personal preference and it becomes gatekeeping elitism.
FWD race cars are proper race cars. They are especially proper touring cars. It is the entire backbone of touring car racing around the world. I also prefer RWD - and big honking V10s that make an astounding amount of noise. But that doesn't mean BTCC cars aren't proper racing cars Some properly mental stuff gets said about the FWD/RWD stuff. I kinda wish TOCA would mandate it so we could get rid of the nonsense. |

I'm a big rumbly growly V8 man personally. Preferably a Chevy with lots of shiny chromework and lots more noise. Obviously RWD.
But I do like a nice 4 cylinder rorty BTCC lump, and couldn't give a hoot whether the front wheels, rear wheels or left wheels are driven. And I still think that Dynamics built FK8 in the right hands could have had the championship last year or potentially this. Camm has come close, but I reckon Flash would have had it. Can I come out the cupboard now, it's a bit bright in here with Greems orange clobber |

*Sigh* Then again I'll point to the part when I said it was my personal preference and not gate keeping at all
It was more in response to the chain of through about a supposed bias towards one type of drive train or the other, sort of like a IF I HAD TO kind of mental puzzle If it ends up through natural selection of the teams, that one drive train ends up being favoured over the other, then I'd rather it was RWD than FWD But tbh I like the diversity of the championship, different cars with different strengths at different ends of the race. I've been a bit miffed about the continual penalisation of RWD this season, particularly now FWD can outdrag them at starts (c'mon! some cars have some advantages in some areas and weaknesses in others, that's what makes for good racing!) but I wouldn't change the makeup of the BTCC for the world. Long may it continue |

I wonder why they went off the idea of biofuel? That would be better and in my view it would be better than petrol, but not necessarily better than diesel, although the latter should only be on racing trucks, it sounds awful in a car, but I think racing has gone off that idea anyway, so it don’t matter
