le mans 2008
hi could someone confirm when next years le-mans is,i have led to believe that it will be over weekend of 1st 2nd June,is this a bit early,normally it`s around fathers day weekend.later in the month,

Still a little too early to say. Even the official Le Mans website Rolex watch and timing count-down isn't ticking yet. I would stick with 15/16 June until announced otherwise.

As Ty says it's too early to be sure. The date is likely to be confirmed in December.
Going on previous years, the first weekend is earlier than is usual but there are lots of considerations about when the ACO are allowed to shut the roads and cause traffic chaos in the area! |

those dates are most probable for pre qual which is about 2 weeks before the main race

The 24th weekend of the year seems to spring to mind, and that would be the 14/15 June.
