Also, Toyota is currently 9 seconds slower

They were quicker in FP though, so I think they didn't bother to set a quick lap.

Dosen't really matter, nobody will care wether they're 4 or 5 seconds off. They have to make sure the car will be perfect for the race, nothing else.

Something is definitely off with Toyota, if last year's car set a 3:21 and this year's car is supposed to be 2.5-3 seconds quicker....

Well i doubt that but if the track gets properly quick and with a clean proper run 3:15 is possible.

If only it would at least do 3:21's steadily, that wouldn't be too bad.

That's what i was thinking.That big of a gap may mean they're just working on a race setup for the dry running.Tommorrow the circuits gonna be washed down so.

toyota surely can go faster than this, the car was faster than last year's car both at silverstone and spa, so it should be at least as quick at le mans. they must be able to do 3:20, but they might not show it before the race. my guess is audi can go below 3:19 as well, since this year's e-tron quattro was much faster than the 2008 peugeot 908 everywhere so far - and the 2008 peugeot managed 3:18 at le mans.

and yes, at this time, the nissan is embarrassingly slow, but they did say we shouldn't judge them until the first stints of the race, because they won't use qualifying to qualify, but rather, to sort out their problems.

i think audi are quicker than that. however, they said they will focus on race setup and not bother to take on porsche in qualifying.

No now we can see the result of this advanced wing design Toyota used on their '14 TS040

The 919 has always been the car for fireworks so it's not surprising to see them go for pole.

If they can sustain that pace during the race is the question. Race-pace wise my money would be on Audi.
