That's quite a number of sparks coming from one of the Nissan's (#22?)

The only good thing about the Nissan are the sparks, and even then i think for the following cars its dangerous, it almost blocks the view of the screen.
Kolles faster than all Nissans |

Ladygin got lucky there, got on the grass at Tetre Rouge and would have put the BR01 into a barrier were it not for the runoff.

If the Nissan is a Le Mans special, they should probably skip the WEC this year.

About 10 minutes behind...
I'm sure that Nissan mechanic shouldn't have taken his glove off to open the door on the #21 GT-R LM. |

Why on Earth would they do that? They're obviously wanting to participate in the WEC, so racing their new car in the rest of the WEC season would help them adapt the car to shorter circuits/normal tracks

Rebellion hasnt broken into the 3:29's yet, so I think they with Toyota are more focused on setup work. Nissan slowly improving. Maybe theyll hit 3:30 soon?

I think Porsche had the right approach here. With such threat of rain through all qualifying sessions, they already set in a quite fast lap.
If conditions improve(track rubbers in), I think they will go to 3.15 or 3.14 |

Boom is right! Someone just reported a sonic boom toward the end of Mulsanne, and rather than looking back down the straight, they looked up at the sky
That time of 3:16 on the first flying lap without even being dialled in, with not everything turned up for a full on, balls out effort is absolutely unreal. The outright quali time of Pedro Rodriguez in the frightening Porsche 917 in 1971 at 3:13 might be trembling a little here, although it boggles the mind that the 919 would beat that outright time on this essentially redesigned track with two chicanes on Mulsanne .... or is it, really, totally out of reach?? |

With the lack of hybrid I think 3:30 is beyond the GT-R but sub 3:35 would be a great effort.
It would also finally convince my nephew that he, in fact, is not the next Jann Mardenborough! Edit - Yet another off for the #7, Treluyer at the wheel this time. Rather unbecoming of an Audi... Red flag for the stricken Audi. Last edited by J Jay; 10 Jun 2015 at 20:59. |

Spot on I think, they took advantage of a virtually empty track and although as Albuqerqueue stated qually is one thing and race pace is altogether different, the kudos of being at the sharp end is all important.

No. 7 Audi off again in the gravel - red flag situation and flat bed has been deployed ... Treluyer is off at the 1st chicane ...

#7 AND #9 Audi both off track. Unusual. If Toyotas wing was worth that much, why were they doing 1:59's at Spa this year?

I don't think that the #7 Audi, even if it's buried in a tire wall or kitty litter is the cause for the red.
There's reports of a Gibson/Zytek in the guardrail at Mulsanne. |
