I think Audi realized the Pugs can't go as long as them, so Audi decided for a lighter fuel load to be able to match or go faster than the Pugs at the beginning, so they would eventually come in at the same time as the Pugs.

The Swiss Spirit Audi very impressive! The engine they're using doesn't have the restrictors the R8 has had the last few years does it? Is it basically at full power equal to the R8's fastest year, 2002?
