2008 January Nominations
After the discussion lets at least give this a try....
The Categories will remain the same cross the year though there may be some months where there are entries in a category. Best gmaps/street circuit, Best Gmaps/Airport/military airbase Best original single line design in the style of Racing Circuits or etrackson-line website. Best Original "full Graphics" design Best initial Challenge Best Challenge Circuit ( **name**'s version of the ****challenge with link or atleast post number) Best Modification/Edit of another contibutor's design Best Modification/Edit of a real world design. Be aware of the dates of the posts, for example the "best challenge circuit" can relate to an initial Challenge from a previous month. As things stand ALL the posts from the month of January are on a single page of threads so not too many to threads to look through. The deadline for nominations is midnight 10th February, which gives plenty of time. The 2 (and tied) most nominated in each catgory will be put forward for voting in Mid April along with the nominations for February and March. |

A quick question:
When judging the "full graphics" tracks, is it the layout you2re supposed to judge, the graphics or a combination of both? |

Bio many thanks for your nominations...A circuit can be entered in more than one category, I think I mentioned that when I proposed this method but forgot to put it on the thread opening blurb.
So both of your single line nominations are valid, do you have a preference to which you wish me to count? Also the Spearmint challenge was initially set in November last year so technically isn't eligable this time around, though the challenge attempts posted in January are. Please feel free to nominate a different challenge if you wish. |

Is someone keeping a running tally of votes?
I've been really busy and not paying this full attention I'm afraid. I do think that how this thread has gone does prove that there is really too much to think of for the average user. A simple 'best tracks of the month' is all that is really needed and takes no time at all to consider. |

2 Circuits received nominations for Best Street 1 Circuit received nominations for Best Airport 2 Circuits received Nominations for Best Single Line 3 circuits received Nominations for Best full Graphics 1 Circuit received Nominations for Best inital Challenge 4 Circuits received Nominations for Best Challenge circuit 1 Circuit received Nominations for Best edit of another Contributor 2 circuits received Nominations for Best edit of a Real World Circuit. These Nominations will be gathered with those for February and March with a view to voting taking place Early April, for End of year finalists. |
