It's not a bad grid, a little heavy on Oreca 03s, but not really going to grumble too much about that.

I'm not holding out too much hope for the LMPC grid, given how dependent this is on the Oreca arrive and drive programme, but otherwise it's worthwhile enough - certainly justifies a watch.

screw lmpc, its an ok grid overall. especially compared to last year. And FINALLY 1 maybe 2 more hpd.

LMPC will definitely depend on how many drivers "arrive" each weekend, and I don't hold out much hope for the Audi in GTC seeing that it's the team formerly known as Downforce1, but apparently there's going to be race-by-race entries to compensate for that anyway. ELMS looking extremely good compared to last year.

And 3-hour races seem to be a good compromise, BES is a good example and the ELMS seems to be following suit.

Quite surprised to see a Labre Corvette on the list. On the other hand, no Aston Martin & Felbermayer in GTE and no OAK in P2.

OAK have one car in P2 run by a private team, Aston Martin's focus is on WEC, Proton Competition have one car in the WEC and a one-off for Le Mans.

So if I remember correctly, amateur drivers are mandatory in GTE now? Are the GTEs 2012 or 2013 spec?

Mowlem and Griffin are listed as the pairing for one of the RAM Racing 458's so i don't see how amateur's are mandatory.

I remember something about RAM having to downspec their new 2013 cars, though, when GTE-Pro was killed off.

From italy I know nearly certain that no Autorlando at all neither GTE neither GTC and only two AF.

29 cars is great news. Let's hope that all of them run the full championship.

Anyway, having no all-pro entries makes the ELMS rather uninteresting to me.

Since races are 3 hours long, I doubt many teams will run three drivers.

That would be a huge improvement! And with only 30-35 cars running in the WEC they could go there as well!

Silverstone would be great for a combined 10 or 12 hour race.

I agree with all of this. I'm surprised they could salvage this series, but they've done a good job. Really looking forward to the season, especially Austria!

Just got a chance to see the entry list. Both P2 and GTE look really promising. Silverstone is looking like a fantastic weekend, too bad I'm so far away. Hopefully this season helps stabilize the ELMS long term.
