UNbelievable!!
Thanks hw. Made me think about what happens when they blow, too. All we see is a plume of oily smoke - under the engine cover it must be literally all hell breaking loose!! Any idea what engine that was incidentally? |

WOW. I was amazed just sitting here at my computer screen. I'd like to see what it would look like with maybe a clear engine cover to see the engine at the last lap of a race. That was amazing.

Great to watch. I'm surprised to see so much apparent heat when there's no load on it though.
I remember these exhaust system on the Peugeots were made of really exotic metals that change shape as revs and power increase and decrease on the overrun. They used to take ages to fabricate and like £20 grands worth for the set. Must be more than that now. Special fuel being used too, to burn in that colour. |

Anyone spot anything resembling fans blowing into radiators, surely the engine must be on the verge of exploding with the air not moving at 150mph through them!
