Aaaaand now it's all gone sideways by the forecast -- let's face it, they just haven't got a clue, so I'm back to overpacking.

But yes, GT6, we do have shade in the campsite AND at the station (at the exit flag point). Biggest concern for us on a hot year like last year is that we only get one water butt delivered at the campsite by the ACO, and last year we ran it down to almost empty with 30 people and their guests. If it's a bit cooler we usually do fine.

It seems everyone is posting pessimistic forecasts on FB and elsewhere despite the fact that two days ago the forecasts were for wall to wall sunshine. It can change - it will change......

well, I won't go to see the race just because I'm far away from La Sarthe, but the prediction from Weather.com isn't good yet

TWC now says chance of rain late Sat night/early Sun morning. Otherwise, partly cloudy on both days.
