No Tung Ho-Pin? I thought he would be keen to enter as German F3 Cup champ.
There are five Macanese drivers this year... I don't understand why some keeps getting funded to enter when they never looks like achieveing anything... |

I said elsewhere else that I didn't think Senna would go because he has so many GP2 tests lined up and the F3 chapter in his career is over.
It's a shame about Tung Ho-Pin, but I think the problem for him is that most of the German F3 runners use either Opel Spiess engines or lower specification Mercedes ones. They feel that they won't be able to keep up with the latest Mercedes and Mugen-Honda engines from Europe and the UK. It's interesting that both Sébastien Buemi and Richard Antinucci have moved from their regular Euroseries teams to British ones. |

Looks like a strong entry list, good to see Conway and Vettel both on the same list. Who will come out on top though? My money is on Conway.

Winslow has nothing left to prove this year, after pulling another driver from a burning car and almost certainly saving his life.

His name is Ho Pin Tung and I think he's doing himselve a favour by not entering. This way it may keep people thinking he's actually capable of anything. The German F3 championship means.... nothing. Sorry.

Carbone, or maybe Antinucci.Experience is invaluable around this track.

It is a shame re Tung.
Disagree with you there Dutch chap, I think the championshipn overall is great, but each to their own. |

actually, not wanting to be controversial or anything but i think dutch chap is right. no matter how much techno-progression goes on in that series, looking at the entry list it's still pretty mediocre talent wise, and by that you'd have to say it means nothing.
it's a good championship, but it's still like winning the national class of british f3 in relation to the euroseries. |

Whilst BF3 arguably has more talent, it was only last season that people were complaining about a lack of talent in that series and Parente with a lot of experience winning the title.
German F3 has the diversity with the chassis and less talent, but there is still some talent there, albeit less than BF3. Macau isn't the be all and end all of F3 racing, it's prestigious right, but I wouldn't say he's doing himself a favour by not entering. |

I agree with Dutch chap and bella. If any of the leading runners from the German Championship were to go to Macau they would get spanked. They know that, so they're not going. QED.
As for likely winners, I reckon that entry list is by no means the last version we'll see, so I'm reserving judgment. The best thing Sutil has is the hand grenade Toyota engine. I'm reliably informed that otherwise he has nothing to offer that Buurman can't match. |

They'd get spanked if going in the cars they competed in this season, but they can drive for another (Euroseries / BF3) team.

I've heard that Giedo van der Garde will replace Sebastian Vettel in the ASM squad and Marko Asmer may return to Hitech in place of Richard Antinucci.

Good to see that everything is settled, then...
Hopefully there will be a more accurate entry list available before the race starts live on Eurosport... otherwise it will be (yet) another of my "vague" commentaries !! ![]() |

Very hot news. Sebastian Vettel is switching from ASM to Carlin Motorsport. Full story here. This is a major coup for BF3, Mugen-Honda and Carlin.
Less dramatic is confirmation that Marko Asmer will indeed lead the Hitech attack. He tested the car at Rockingham last week. |
