MG at Le Mans

What exactly is MG and Lolas problem?

They give a brand new, untried car, very late to Chamberlains.
The car, due to engine reliability problems hardly runs for more than a few minutes at a time.

Chamberlains / Mark Blundell and others then drag one of the two cars around for a majority of the race, at times as the quickest car on the track.

Lola and MG in their wisdom then think it might be sensible to think about west Surrey racing run the car, a team with absolutely no endurance pedigree at all.

someone explain the wisdom to me.

As far as I know Chamberlains had a multi year deal, did a superb job, sacrificing their own programme for the year, and end up likely getting kicked in the teeth.

It would serve them right if west Surrey cocked up completely if its given to them, lets have some loyalty and even common sense Lola.

WTF?????? - Hugh, Jack and the boys did the excellent job give the legendary lateness of the Project not to mention the Lola/MG infighting that was more than evident in the way they they were comunicating (well mis-communicating) with the media during the race.

It always looked like MG/Lola were setting the Chamberlain boys up a scapegoats for when it all went pairshaped..

Now the are talking about going somewhere else? well good luck to them nothing like giving some other poor sucker the chance to fail infront of the world.

Definitely agree with you two. Leave it with Hugh. He is a thoroughly good bloke and has an excellent team behind him.
