Both works Lola-AM are quicker over a single lap though. If they can consistently do that they're in business.

Does anyone know if the organizers adressed the complaints about the fuel?
Or should we consider the turbo on the RML car to be the first victime of it?

Does anyone have a link to a live video or even audio stream for the race?

No, since there is no broadcast to stream. T&S and regular free updates on DSC are all we can hope for. Once again, one step forward two steps back for LMS...

Discussion of live streams is here:
http://tentenths.com/forum/showthrea...30#post2434030

Concensus at the moment is:

- No Live commentary
- Live video only through www.eurosport.com, which will cost you the USD equivalent of £3.99 (assuming its availible stateside).

Luc Alphand's "stay on the track for a certain victory" tactics have just gone tits up.

In the cracking battle for the lead at the moment it looks like the pattern of last year, with open cars having the edge in coping with traffic, seems to be applicable this year.

And really does look bleak for Luc Alphand doesn't it?

Thanks for the info. I was hoping that there might at least be something. That T&S seems completely useless to me. Am I just reading it wrong, or is it not actually showing the gaps between cars?

I have to say the WR surprises me, being in 4th place in P2

If I am not mistaking the difference between the cars is under "Distance" (between last lap time and the number of pitstops)

At first I assumed that's what that column was, but if you watch it, the numbers make zero sense.

Equally surprising that their pace is holding up now that Gommendy's been replaced by one of the Salinis. I always figured the car had promise, nice to see it delivering.

Has anyone else noticed that Jonny Cocker is able to consistently match the pace of the leaders in the Drayson Aston? Bodes well for the future of that car I think.

According to T&S it's Bakkerud.

Acording to T&S Bakkerud is driving the #15

Btw T&S seems pretty up to date to when it comes to the difference between cars.

cheers - the Eurosport stream seems to suffer when running live timing at the same time - probably because I have a fairly slow connection.

#11's just been wheeled into the garage

Problem for #11? Having recently taken second the car seemed slow on the way into the pits.

Edit: Backed into the garage.

007 pits, can they retake the lead when the Pesca comes in?

Edit: One of the Astons VERY slow away as with the previous stop - sounds as though it isn't in gear.

Edit again: 009 was slow away both times 007 was fine on each occasion.

Panis still sitting in the pits.

Just checked and the Eurosport video player is not available in the states. The LMS must be crazy not to be taking advantage of the sports car fanbase that the ALMS has built up over here.

I do like Astons interpetation of the "thou shall only have one tire changer" rule. Having one air gun but three guys working on the tyres probably wasn't the ACO idea of the rule.

Leventis might be a nice guy with loads of dosh but that Zytec is losing 5 to 10 seconds per lap!

Wake up Mr.Tomlinson and give your Ginetta-Zytec brand the backing the car deserves! Put Robbie Kerr/Adam Carroll/Danny Watts in a car and you could win the LMS title and have a decent shot at Le Mans too!

The Lola Astons seem to be consistently slower in the pits than the Pescarolos.

Think this might end up being the main factor this afternoon

Just discovered my problem with the gaps on T&S. It only works on the overall classification, but not on the class pages.

Game over for the #11 Courage.

Deep down it still has a lot in common with the LC70 in being fast but a bit fragile.
