Puzzle should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
1000 km lenktynes - tell me all about it
So I'm currently watching Motors TV on VIP BOX and this race is on and it looks kinda well... like something I'd expect to have heard of. there does seem to be some information out there but all of it in Lithuanian so aside from that it's a 100km race held on closed highways in some resort region of lithuania what do people know about this race?

I was watching the same thing and completely mystified. This is the circuit:



It uses a 270 off-ramp as part of the circuit!

Plus, there's all kinds of crazy machinery racing. A Radical, something called a Spire GT, a Lada WAGON, a Porsche 968.

neat too have a track map certainly a very interesting event hopefully it'll grow over the coming years.

Wasn't there a GT2 Spyker in this race back in 2009 or 2010?

Yeah it was, I believe because Snoras bank who was a big sponsor of the team is big in the region. Spyker turned up and kicked ass which considering the competition is a lot less professional then a works team like Spyker Squadron.

Always seemed to me to be a bit of a last resort for Spyker to add something worthy to their very short palmarès.

Still, a very enjoyable race to watch in the middle of the night when I'm having another of my sleepless stints.
