What's on at Combe on Bank Holiday Monday?

Just looked on the website and there doesn't seem to be much listed.

There are 2xTVR Races, AutoItalia, Fiestas, Combined Ford Saloon/Focus Race, Fiats plus the normal Combe Championships.

It doesn't mention Autoitalia or Fiats on the Combe website - I didn't think what was listed was worth £12, but now I do.

What are the Fiats like for racing action? And the AutoItalias?

Pretty good usually. The TVRs, Combe saloons and Combe FF1600's should be the highlights though.

I'm marshalling the 750MC meeting at Silverstone on Saturday and Sunday, but seriously considering abandoning the fireproof romper suit on Monday and taking my camera to Combe to try out the new lens.

G_Ilott Check the "NEWS" section on the CC website and you'll find all the info you need.

AutoItalias were good at Mallory a few weeks ago. Always interesting with a reversed grid.

Presumably get AutoItlaia due to one of their rounds being cancelled at Cadwell earlier in the summer.

Should be a good meeting, and looking forward to it!

Do you know which post you're marshalling Dan? Is there any post you don't like?

Does anyone remember that blue/purple/yellow Mini 1275GT in the Saloons? Who the hell drove that and where is he now?

Neil, what new lens is this then?

Never know which post we're on until the day.. could guess at Quarry In though, as have yet to do that this year so far..

Posts to avoid are Folly and Avon Rise.. mostly boring. all the others seem pretty good, improved due to chicanes, although Old Paddock is ruined of course.

Broadheads used to run minis. Actually boughht my Le mans tickets of him this year! Think they are hoping to be back next year..

No, it was a youngish bloke who went to do Monoposto. I cannot remember his name.

The Broadheads (Richard and Anita?) raced normal shape Minis, dark blue/purple.
