According to last weeks Autosport, Colin Brown was rumoured to be driving in either FFord or FRenault this year. Does anyone have the inside track on this information? I know Autosport showed him testing a FRenault for DFR, but are there any top FFord seats left to aim at? Mackie Motorsport maybe?

Thanks Mackmot! So who is driving for you this year, is it still Luke Hines and someone else? And have all the other factory seats at Van Dieman and Hayward been filled?

Van Diemen and Haywood both seem to have signed about 15 drivers, so I don't think there are any spare seats round that way...

(hope it's ok to post in an old thread, some forums get ratty)

Colin should have gone to Super A, I'm sure TopKart would rather have the FA World Champ than Fabi, plus he'd get paid decent money. I think it's too late for his old team Rambo to enter now though.

Just read in Vroom mag that Colin will be racing in Italian Formula Renault.

Another point though, obviously Mackie Motorsport is not a charity but I can understand Colin's feelings about paying.

We don't - we're friendly!

It's OK to post in an old thread unless it's closed. If it's closed, then it's not possible to post in it anymore.

If you want to post in a really old thread, stop by The Gravel Trap and post in a thread called "Challenge". That thread was started in June last year!
