Silverstone Testing
Must be F1 testing at Silverstone soon.... ?
Last year I was there on the 24th, bit nippy but my first experience of Formula One in the flesh so was worth it. Any info on when it is and which teams are attending? Will it still be free? Cheers |

The provisional dates are now on the silverstone website, and my website for that matter.
they are: February 21st – 23rd (Renault scheduled for this test) April 5th – 7th April 26th – 28th June (Pre GP) 1st – 3rd July (British Grand Prix) 8th – 10th September 13th – 15th I imagine they will still be free addmission. Jordan are testing at Silverstone on Monday I emailed them, asking if public spectating is authorised for this test, seconds before I saw this thread. I will also call the circuit on monday morning. I might just go along anyway, if they use the full gp track, I will be able to peer through the fence from a distance, if they are using the short track and refusing access, then I'm bugered. |

not as many dates as usual.
was anyone at the jordan test? seems curious that the 'big test' runs through to a friday. i've rarely known f1 testing at s'stone on a friday - the only time i can recall was the big test in 2000, when they ra on friday to make up for missed track time earlier in the week as a result of zonta's huge crash when he flipped over the fence at stowe. any ideas as to teams at any tests? |

Jordan are testing today, I can hear them right now actually, but its strictly closed to the public.

Anyone have any more information on this test next week? I'm hoping to see a few more teams there (maybe Jordan/McLaren/Williams/RBR) shake a third car down and/or complete pit stop practice. Jim. |
