The Larbre Saleen is not putting up much of a fight.

You forget that in its first outing, the Saleen (under Franz Konrad) won GTS at Sebring in 2001. Saleens have won a number of races, particularly in FIA GT, including San Luis 2008 and Silverstone 2009.

I was a big Saleen fan after that, but that car has been heartbreaking for the fans who have supported it for the last 5 years.
Acemco got fast, and then disappointed. Oreca was really fast - and laid an egg at Le Mans. Larbre - never put the cars to the full potential. Heartbreak after heartbreak. |

Drayson Vantage GT2 retires.
Lord Drayson Twitter: "Race over. Engine failure. We were running consistently in top 4 so pace was good until oil leaked onto rear tyres. Very frustrating. :-(" Drayson Racing Twitter: "We have officially withdrawn as a critical, internal, mechanical piece has failed in the engine. More to follow at DraysonRacing.com." Tom. |

Quite a pity the Audis rammed eachother off the track.
If you look at the laptimes of the #15 car, it is running at the same pace as the leaders (and sometimes quicker) |

What a shame for Drayson! Was rather hoping for a good run for them.

Pillet was the fastest driver in GT2 for 2 whole stints, pulling out a lead of over 1 minute, so if narac can keep the gap where it is, there may well be enough time for Pillet to catch the leaders.

The guy that's fastest in GT2 right now is Garcia in the #84. He's running down Bell, who is no slouch.
