kmchow should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
That many BMW cars???

There's a poster with the following phrase "5 continents, 256 teams, 1 spirit" I guess they're counting BMWs from every single national series, level and class? It sounds like a pretty good catch phrase.

Alfa Fan has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Well if you think about it 256 teams could just be made up of 300 cars. Which I am sure other manufacturers compare closely.

I don't think many manufacturers like Mercedes, Volvo and Ford could claim they have that many private/junior/works teams racing their cars? I think BMW and Honda are the only ones that could possibly claim those numbers?

What rubbish. 256 teams competing at what level ? How many Aussie V8 Ford teams are there for example. You could take the one make Fiesta series last year, that's 15 cars. Or the Ford Challenge club series (20-30 cars). Or Ford Ka rally championship (20+ cars?). Or NASCAR. Or ... etc etc.

Marketing hype, pure and simple.

Must be quite a few, they have the Production Spec 306, and I think there was a rally version as well at one time.

But those must be out numbered by 206's quite dramatically !
